1. Tickets & park transport
Wulingyuan ticket + eco-bus, Bailong Elevator, Tianzi cableway, Tianmen ticket + cableway, Grand Canyon glass bridge, etc. DIY “do everything” can exceed ¥1,000+ on tickets alone; groups usually include selected items.
2. Hotels
Stay near Wulingyuan for park days; stay downtown for Tianmen. Economy ~¥150–300/night; comfort ~¥350–700/night; peak season higher. Sleep close on heavy sightseeing days.
3. Food & local transport
Meals ~¥80–180/person/day (more with specialty dinners). Taxis, shuttles, or private cars vary widely; groups usually include coaches.
4. Long-haul transport
Flights/trains vary hugely by origin—budget them separately. Domestic flights to Zhangjiajie often range from a few hundred to 1,000+ CNY; HSR via Changsha is common.
