Clear days: prioritize Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, and Tianmen’s glass walkway for open views.
After rain / light mist: high chance of cloud seas—great for photos; watch slippery paths.
Heavy rain: switch to Huanglong Cave, Xibu Street, or a city rest day; high attractions may close.
Cold clear days: sharper winter peak lines for slow exploring—warmth and wind protection first.
Packing checklist
